Cyber Stud Poker
The game of Cyber Stud Poker is available in two different formats, the first is the standard one you can see below and the second is the Progressive Cyberstud Poker version that offers you the chance of winning a live progressive jackpot by placing an additional side bet wager.
The game of Cyber Stud Poker which is found exclusively in Microgaming powered online casinos is basically a game of heads up between you and the Dealer and whoever ends the game with the best ranked hand is deremed to be the winner.
There are a range of bonus payouts on offer depending on what hand you end up with and to receive these extra payouts the Dealer must Qualify, this simply means that he has in his hand anything above a King and an Ace as listed on the poker hand rankings table.
The game requires you to place what is known as an Ante wager before any cards are dealt and then once the cards have been dealt you are then given several different beetting decisions which are listed below. How To Play Cyber Stud Poker
Before a game commences you must select a stake level fro your Ante wager, this can be any amount from 1.00 up to a maximum of 50.00, these wager amounts are available in several currencies one of which will have been chosen by you when you opened your casino account.
When you have placed your Ante wager on to the table layout by simply clicking the Place Ante button then you have to click the Deal button. Five face up cards are dealt to you and one face up card is then dealt to the Dealer.
You now need to make a decision on whether you think your hand is strong enough to beat the Dealers hand, however as the Dealer is only showing one card at this time you need to look at the strngth of your hand and use you skill and judgement to decide whether to play on or fold your hand.
If you Fold your hand then the remaining cards are dealt to the Dealer and you will have lost your wager stakes, irrespective of whether you hand beats the Dealers hand or not. If you decide to play on with your initial hand then you need to click the Call button, by doing this you will then have a second wager placed onto the table for you and this will be double the amount of your Ante wager.
The remainder of the Dealers cards are then dealt and the hand will be compared with the strongest poker hand being deemed the winning hand.Cyber Stud Poker Payouts
If the Dealers hand does not Qualify by having at least a King and an Ace in it, then if you have made a Call bet you will have your Call bet returned to you and your Ante wager is paid out at Even Money, so if you have placed a 1.00 Ante wager and a 2.00 Call wager and the Dealer does not Qualify you get your 2.00 call back returned and you get 2.00 back for you Ante wager (1.00 @ Even Money =2.00).
However should the Dealer Quailfy and your hand is the highest ranked one then you get paid double your Ante wager amount and the following bonus payouts are given on your Call wager amount:
Royal Flush 999 to 1, Straight Flush 199 to 1, Four of a Kind 99 to 1, Full House 14 to 1, Flush 9 to 1, Straight 5 to 1, Three of a Kind 3 to 1, Two Pair 1 to 1, One Pair 1 to 1, Ace King 1 to 1. If your hand does not beat the Dealers when he has Quailfied you will lose both your Ante and Call wagers.
